The yacht market was one of the luxury industries that were affected badly. But yet there have been several deals with eye-popping figures. Here are the top three yachts that brokered the highest sales. Starting off with the Superyacht Moonlight II (ex Alysia). Sold in June 2010 by joint central agents Edmiston & Company, Burgess and Peter Insull Yacht with the marketing brains from Edmiston, this nautical engineering wonders is 85m long. Constructed by the Greece-based Neorion Shipyards Syros, the Moonlight II features styling by Alpha Marine and Lally Poulias. The superyacht came with a massive price tag of $108,772,285.
Next up is the Superyacht Lauren L. built in 2002 by Cassens-Werft, the 90m long superyacht was originally meant to be a 100-passenger cruise vessel, which saw a major revamp in 2008. Set at a sales price of $83,239,395, the yacht can accommodate as many as 40 guests onboard. The Lauren L can be chartered via Edmiston & Company.
And finally comes the Superyacht Natita (ex Ona). Designed by Alberto Pinto, the 66m long yacht was originally built by Germany-based Kusch Yachts in 2005; the yacht was revamped as Natita. Sold by Burgess, the superyacht earned as massive $76,694,275.
